Advantages of the Invention An automatic device in the form of a table-top device is preferably provided. This device is suitable for cleaning small parts automatically, preferably in different machining processes. The device has a processing space in which individual treatment containers are arranged, in which the small parts to be cleaned are immersed. The treatment containers are provided in an interior, which is closed to the outside, the individual treatment containers being arranged in a fixed manner in the interior. At least some of the treatment containers are filled with different liquids so that a cleaning process can be carried out. The material to be cleaned is received in a cleaning basket which is guided through a manipulator unit in and out of the respective treatment containers. It is also provided that the cleaning basket can perform at least one rotary movement. In the treatment containers, cleaning fluids are filled, which support the machining process of cleaning the small parts. In one of the processing containers, preferably the first in the processing process row, an ultrasonic vibrator is arranged, which supports the cleaning process. According to the present invention, it is expedient if a suction fan with an explosion-proof fan is used as a suction device, which has corresponding pipe connections, which make it possible for these possible ignitable gas-air mixtures from the interior, in particular above the cleaning containers can be forced into the open air, where they can then mix with the outside air and therefore no longer pose a danger due to their concentration.
